DENTIST

Dr. Su McNeill

Dr. Su McNeill was born and raised in England, and she still has the accent to prove it! It was those bad British teeth that inspired her to become a dentist. She actually “cut her teeth,” so to speak, in the challenging fast-paced National Health System in the UK, where she worked in dentistry for 6 years before moving to the United States. She earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S) from the University of Sheffield Dental School, Sheffield, United Kingdom, and her Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D) from Temple University School of Dentistry, Philadelphia, PA, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.

Her professional memberships include the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, and the Tidewater Dental Association. Dr. McNeill is committed to continuing education and takes many advanced courses each year to enhance her skills to better serve the dental care needs of her patients and provide them with a gentle and comfortable dental experience.

Married to Jerry, a retired naval officer and now civilian contractor, they are the proud parents of two young children, Raeya and Kamran. Dr. McNeill’s favorite pastime is simply spending time with her kids and letting loose and being silly with them. Her family loves living in Virginia Beach and being so close to Norfolk because there are so many year-round activities such as going to the beach, waterparks, farms, museums, and the list goes on!
